“An undeniably moving contemplation of loss.” – The Guardian
About the Film
The accompanying documentary to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ sixteenth studio album The Skeleton Tree, One More Time With Feeling is perhaps the most grief-ridden and devastating work in the 59-year-old’s multi medium-spanning oeuvre. Originally a performance-based concept, One More Time With Feeling documents Cave’s nigh-impossible reconciliation with the world around him following the tragic death of his 15-year-old son. Directed by Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James) and interwoven with interviews and filmed performances, Cave’s battle with ruination through complete darkness makes for poignant, captivating and highly fragile viewing.
